How to Design an Athletic Court

You’ve come to the right place. By working with C&C Courts, you can design and build a completely custom multi-sports game court, either indoor or outdoor. You will get to work with a team of seasoned professionals and use our awesome, interactive “Design a Court” feature on our website.

Indoor Court or Outdoor Court

You first need to decide whether you want an indoor or outdoor court. Indoor courts are great for year-round play, though they do require space in your home.

Outdoor courts are an option when you have a large backyard with enough space to house a multi-sports game court. Outdoor courts allow your family to reap the benefits of outdoor summer play, and you can use your court for an ice rink during the winter!

Once you’ve decided where to put your court, you will need measurements. Knowing the amount of space we can work with is important when designing your ideal court.

Hop on “Design a Court”

The best feature of our website is the “Design a Court” tool. Here, you can completely design and customize a court in 3D. This feature is the easiest way to get a visual idea of what your court will look like when it’s finished. You can customize the accessories and colors as well and add your own logo or decal.

For ease of use, we’ve put together a quick how-to guide to design a court.

Step 1: Select Your Court Location

The first thing you’ll see on this page is the choice between Outdoor or Indoor Courts. Choose which one you want to design.

Step 2: Select Court Type and Size

Since we’re building a multi-sport game court, choose that button, then decide how large or small your court can be based on available space. This is where your measurements come in handy.

Step 3: Design Everything

You will now see a 3-dimensional court on your screen. Using the available tools, you can design your court. You can rotate your view by clicking on the court and dragging your mouse around. Zoom in and out with your mouse roller or the buttons at the top.

On the left side of the screen, you should see the colors of the court, which you can customize by clicking on the color swatch and choosing your favorite colors. You can also change the game line positions and dimensions.

Add Hoops

There’s a button in the middle that allows you to add hoops. Clicking multiple times will add multiple hoops.

Add a Logo

To add a logo to your court design, click “Upload Logo” at the top. A file browser will appear, allowing you to select a PNG or JPG of your image. Select the right image and click “Open.”

Your logo will automatically appear on the court in the paint section. You can change the width of the logo by adjusting the number under the Upload Logo button.

Step 4: Save Your Work

Every once in a while, click “Save” to save your work. You can create an account that will allow you to design and save multiple courts

Step 5: Share Your Court Design With Us

After saving your court, click the “Share” button. When you click either this button, a prompt will appear asking some questions about you so our team can get to know you better. Then, we can get in touch to bring your design to life.
